In The Bleak Mid Winter

Hello Everyone,

I have been playing with the Dutch Doobadoo Houses and made a winter scene using papers by Pion Design Greetings From The North Pole Collection, all links at the bottom as usual.

I made the snow using Dutch Doobadoo Structure Paste and lots of Viva Decor Ice Crystals and this is so glistening in real life.

The Poinsettias were made using Foamiran, wow I am addicted to making flowers with this foam, they are just so beautiful and so realistic.

I used the 10mm shabby white rusty bells for the door handles.

I added two Christmas Trees, just about still in stock at Noor Design UK.

Here's a side view.

You can see the glisten from this picture hopefully :)

A close up of the Poinsettia using Foamiran in White.  I also added Glistening Berries as stamens and also more Viva Decor for the icy look.

I added shabby white sprigs to finish the arrangement.

Hope you like it :)

Thermal Weather

Hi Everyone,

I finally found some time to colour.  The image is called Thermal Weather by Saturated Canary and is coloured with distress inks onto Fabriano Artistico watercolour paper.

I used the Quilted Dragonfly embossing folder, goodness these emboss so well that I always want to leave them white so you can see the detail.  I added the Majestic diecuts around the edges.  The image was cut out using the Fancy Squares and Little Things die set.

The flower arrangements were made up using Glistening Berries in Red, Shabby white cones, shabby white sprigs and metal leaves.

Hope you like it.

Foamiran Exploding Box

Hello Everyone,

At our recent Noor Design UK Class we made with new Foamiran and made flowers.  You can get everything you need to make your flowers, a choice of 19 Foam colours, Moulds, A huge selection of stamens ranging from Vintage Matt, Two-tone and Pearl Stamens, Flower Tools, Dies, Moulds and a variety of centres.  I will be adding a tutorial to the website shortly too :)  So where was I, oh yeah here is the exploding box with all the handmade flowers.

This is a view from the top.  The leaves were cut with the Trailing Leaves Die from Pion Design Palette Green I, all available from shop and links below.

Of course I chose Pion Design papers and the newest beautiful collection, Where the Roses Grow.  The vintage images are also by Pion Design Grandma's Attic Bouquet.

I love the butterflies that are on the Borders sheet so I decided to add more flowers to the centre panel and arrange the butterflies on accetate as though they are flying over the top.

From this picture you can see the butterflies in more detail.

Here's the box closed.  I used Rose Linen for the outside panels and added Lace Desiree around the top of the lid.

You can get everything you need from Noor Design UK

Hope you like it.
