December Hugs and Christmas Wishes

Hello everyone,

I have made a Chrsitmas card using Pion Design's Christmas Wishes collection of papers and used the Pion Design Palette Green VI to diecut the LDRS Holly Border and Fantasy Fir Branches 2.  I used the Dutch Doobadoo Pearl Pen for the little berries on the holly.

I made Foamiran poinsettias using White and Burgundy Foamiran.  I added Heart Head stamens in Olive and Burgundy and finished with sisal, wax cord, vintage straws, frosted pomegranates, cinnamon sticks and a bark star.

I love the new borders dies from LDRS and I also love the Wycinanka Tatting Chritmas chipboard, doesn't it look gorgeous  I added the sentiment from the Christmas Wishes Border sheet to finish this card.

Hope you like it

Heart Bouquet

Morning everyone,

I hope you are all having a good weekend.  I am sharing something a little different.  I have used one of the LDRS Creative Lock -Itz Heart Bouquet Die set to create today's card.

I used Pion Design Palette in White I for the base and die cuts.  Speaking of which isn't that LDRS Creative Polkadoodles Scalloped Swag Border just fabulous.

I used one of the dies from the LDRS Fancy Circle Die set, I just love the intricacy around the edge.

Here's what it looks like when it's locked closed.

I added a wooden fence and some Scrapiniec Grapevine decors.

Hope you like it.

Holly Days

Hello everyone,

I have been having fun playing with the LDRS Creative Winter Land paper pad.  The shape was created using the LDRS Allifair die set.  The poinsettia's were cut out of the paper also and I even utilised the poinsettia on the cover sheet :)

I added snowtex all over and some Powertex 3D balls to the centres of the Poinsettia's along with a white pomegranate.

I addede Scrapiniec holly leaves from the Holly Jolly Big Wreath set along with diecut holly leaves from the Holly Wreath Circle die set, also cut out of the Winter Land papers.  I added green moss to the arrangement and a seam vintage binding bow.

The sentiment was stamped out from the Holly Days Large Circle set and embossed.  This was layered onto the criss cross die cut from the Holly Wreath die set and then layered onto the Holly wreath die cut.

Hope you like it.

A Teacup Full of Wishes

Hi again,

I have had fun again playing with more LDRS Creative Dies and the oh so cute LDRS Creative Teacup Full of Wishes by Polkadoodles coloured with distress inks.  I have used the Grace Build a Die Set, I love the elegant fluted edge of the circle and the dashed and dotted faux stitched effect of the inner circle and not to forget how awesome the stitched leaves are, I do love a leaf :)

I added two segments from the Dainty Doily Edge Die, another favourite.

The image was diecut using the Fancy Rectangles and Things die set.

To the floral bouquet I used Hybrid Tea Roses, 10mm open roses, sweetheart blossom, pixie blossom, meadow spray in white, rose buds and finished with an organza ribbon which I heated with my heat gun to give it that shabby vintage feel, love this effect.

The text was stamped from an LDRS Sentiment Set     which is currently on sale :)

Hope you like it :)

Christmas Cheer

Hi Everyone,

I have been playing today with the NEW LDRS Winter Land paper pad.  These are so high quality that I used the matching papers to make all my diecuts too :)  I used the NEW LDRS Snowy Day Border and used one of the beautiful papers capturing the darker tones to the top of the snowflakes and it looks cool in real life.

I added Wycinanka Lace Baubles mixed and finished with a Foamiran Poinsettia using the smallest petal die from  NEW Rosy Owl Poinsettia die set, finished with heart headed stamens and added a wax cord bow and the holly leaves cut from the NEW LDRS Holly

I diecut the Christmas word and Cheer word twice, once in white cardstock and once from the Winter Land paper pad and offset against each other.

You can see in the below picture the gorgeous Snowy Day Border.

Season's Greetings

Hello everyone,

It's been a while since I posted and most of you will know that Christmas Cards are my utmost favourite cards to make so I couldn't resist a play with Pion Design's Christmas Wishes collection.

I cut the image from the Christmas Morning 12x12 sheet using LDRS Fancy Rectangles die set and edged with Forest Moss distress ink.

I used a Scrapiniec Tatting Christmas 3D Heart and finished with a wax cord bow and two tone frosted pomegranates.

The Poinsettia was made using Foam Silk Suite in Red.  This foam doesn't need heating and is easy to manipulate with your fingers.

I cut tags from the Tag sheet, added a diecut from the Fantasy Branches 3 behind it and added some frosted pomegranates.  You will also see the NEW reindeer clip, isn't it cute.

All the items used are linked below my post.
